Tax Time!!!!

I know, I am weird, but I love doing my taxes. I especially love getting a huge refund because of the tax bracket we're in at this point in our lives, and of course our little tax deduction, Taylor. And next year, we'll have two! Have you seen that commercial with the three presidents(they are pretty creepy) talking to the couple with the baby about getting a tax refund to help them buy diapers? It's pretty funny when Ben Franklin, or whoever he is supposed to be, says "I think your little tax deduction needs a new diaper" and then they back away and look terrified. Yeah, that is a pretty funny commercial. Anyway, I heard that the IRS is giving advice to people on how to get a bigger refund this year. You know things are bad when the IRS wants to give you more money. I know a lot of people are intimidated by the thought of doing their own taxes, and I might be too, if we had a house and all that other stuff you have to think about when you are filling out the forms. But I have found a wonderful website that basically helps you do everything. Try it, you won't regret it, and you can do it for free! Or if you so choose, pay a small fee and you can get more help. It's called taxact.

It's a.....

I don't know, you tell me. Just kidding, it's a beautiful baby dinosaur! Or at least that's what her big brother thinks she looks like. He took one look at the monitor and said, DINOSAUR!!! We, of course corrected him, but I think that he will be pretty surprised to have a little sister instead of his dinosaur that he wants.
We are pumped about having a girl. I think Taylor will be a great big brother, and they will have very similiar features. I can already tell that they are going to have the same nose.

Happy Halfway Point!!!!

Well, I am a day late, but yesterday I was 20 weeks! I am officially halfway done with this pregnancy! And boy is it flying by! We find out what we're having(fingers crossed) on Monday, so Yea! Baby!!! And so far, everything has been going very smoothly. Well, as far as the baby is concerned. I can't really say that for myself, but it's okay! Right now I feel great. I'm not sick other than a little stuffy nose, and I'm really looking forward to Taylor having a little brother or sister!

Bowling with Taylor

It was my friend, Cher's, birthday on Friday, so we went bowling with her and a bunch of her family and friends. We thought it would be fun to introduce Taylor to it, and boy did he love it. He had such a blast. We had them put up the bumpers(which helped out more than just Taylor, I must say), and we went crazy. They even had little bowling shoes his size, so cute.  Taylor mostly just dropped the ball, sometimes it would slowly travel down the lane. Most of the time, we just pushed it after he dropped it. He even got a strike once when Justin did that. I think he bowled a 47. I actually bowled a 120, I haven't broken a hundred since I was a kid. That's why I say the bumpers helped out more than just Taylor. Anyway, it was a lot of fun, I think we'll do it again sometime.

New Year's Eve

We went to our friend's house to dance and party the night away on New Year's Eve. We had fun dancing and watching the kids get down with their bad selves. It was a blast and we stayed up until 1:30, when we couldn't keep our eyes open anymore. Actually, I fell asleep a little after 11 until about 5 minutes until midnight. I'm seriously not a night owl anymore, it's pretty sad. Taylor even stayed up till 11, when he finally zonked. And he's 2! Man, am I lame.
Midnight with our sparkling cider, and a wonderful shot of my nostrils;)
Taylor dancing the night away, doesn't it look like he's playing air guitar? He's quite the dancer, if I do say so myself.
My first pregnancy pic at 18 weeks. I've heard that you start showing earlier with you second and subsequent children. I don't really remember when I started to show with Taylor, so I really don't know if that is true. Anyway, I swear I'm getting bigger every day, and I'm not sick anymore, thank goodness. And poor Taylor is going to start getting mad at me because he won't be able to climb all over me any more. It's kind of hard to teach a kid who's used to rough housing with his dad to be more gentle with his mom.
