Davis County Fair

We went to the fair on Friday night last week. It's really a great fair, especially since it's free. They have all kinds of exhibits, animals, shows, food, junk food. It was really a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we missed the pony rides on Friday, so we just had to go again on Saturday. Here are just a few of the fun things we did.

This is Alisha with Celeste in front of a cow. Yeah, a cow.

Taylor with his treasure at the petting zoo. He loves this sword, so much, in fact, that he wouldn't feed or touch any of the animals. He was too busy. He did feed one baby goat, and I didn't get a picture, and then he wouldn't do it again so I could.

Big horns on a cow, whoo-hoo!

Alisha and Cassi comparing pregnant bellies.

This is on Saturday, waiting in line for the ponies. We weren't sure he would do it.

Yea, finally riding on a pony. He wanted a small one, so he got the smallest. Even though there were littler kids than him.

Matt riding the mechanical bull. Yeah, he rides bulls professionally.

Train ride

Boat ride

and a plane ride, Taylor's 3 favorite forms of transportation. Even though, he's really only ever been on a train(Frontrunner)

This says it all.

It's fun to see how things have been going for you. Our dates are so close in some things. Shelby was born on January 29th, Keilie was born on August 22, and I was born May 31. We have a lot of dates close together. Read our blog at www.dirks2000.blogpot.com. Glad we got back in touch!
